Dr. Flake places great importance on his own personal continuing education. He graduated from the renowned Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 1985. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Seattle Study Club, an international organization promoting continued learning in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Flake has attended NW Esthetics Continuum seminars on cosmetic treatment and dentistry. He has also completed comprehensive training for treating patients with Invisalign.

Dr. Flake has practiced in Mill Creek since 1995. As a long-time resident of the area, he has been married over 20 years and has two wonderful daughters. Dr Flake is an avid golfer, and he enjoys skiing and boating with his family.
